Double Homicide in Newton, Mother and Daughter Found Dead in Home

Newton police say they are investigating a double homicide including a 24-year-old mother and her 4-year-old little girl.

Officers found the two individuals dead at a home around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Boss Eric Murphy revealed to KAKE that a suspect has been distinguished yet nobody is in care. He says he doesn’t think people in general is in risk.

The casualties have not been recognized.

“The 4-year-old had cut injuries and we are uncertain now on the technique on the grown-up female,” Chief Murphy stated, including that the individual who called 911 was a colleague.

He was uncertain with respect to what extent their bodies had been in the home, KAKE detailed Tuesday evening.
