A Spotsylvania man is blamed for holding his better half and their kids hostage inside a home for over two years.
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office says representatives went to the home in the 3600 piece of Mine Road at around 5 p.m. Saturday subsequent to getting a call from somebody worried that they hadn’t gotten notification from the relatives in a while.
At the point when the representatives arrived, they talked with 43-year-old Kariem Moore on his front yard.
The sheriff’s office says Moore ended up plainly equivocal when representatives revealed to him that they were there to beware of his family’s welfare.
Before long, a lady — later distinguished as his 32-year-former sweetheart — and two kids came up short on the house from a side entryway.
Moore was captured and the lady and kids were moved to a sheltered area.
