3 people with strike rifles jumped into an Illinois clubhouse Sunday, shot a security monitor and stole cash from the money confine, police said.
The three equipped suspects entered Casino Queen in East St. Louis around 3 a.m. Sunday and shot an unarmed security protect, FOX2 St. Louis revealed. Witnesses said they heard a gunfire that sent many individuals running for the ways out.
“As I’m searching for my keys, we heard a gunfire. I’m similar to ‘Goodness my god is that a gunfire?’… pop, pop, pop, pop,” Keona Edwards told FOX2.
“We just began running, a billion people running. Individuals got kept running over by wheelchairs. Cash got taken, individuals left their cash. It was quite recently silly,” she reviewed.
The thieves set out toward the money confine on the primary floor of the gambling club. They took an unspecified measure of money before escaping the scene.
The protect was taken to the doctor’s facility and is said to be in stable condition. Nobody else was harmed in the episode, as indicated by FOX2. Witnesses said they heard a few shots, however it’s misty what number of rounds were discharged.
