Kathy Griffin’s sister dies after Battle with Cancer, at 65

Kathy Griffin, 56, shared a sincere video tribute on Instagram Friday, uncovering that her sister, Joyce, had died Thursday night after a battle with cancer. She was 65, as per TMZ.

In the video, Joyce shows up in a healing center quaint little inn a pink beanie as she tunes in to a vocalist who remains in the entryway of her doctor’s facility room.

“My sister Joyce passed away calmly the previous evening,” Griffin wrote in the subtitle. “Look at this wonderful minute. It would be ideal if you bolster American Cancer Society here: goo.gl/eMJVhq (Link In Bio).”

In the video, Griffin states, “This is the place she generally needed to be … and now she’s having a mai tai on the shoreline in paradise,” over an outline of her sister unwinding at the shoreline.

In July, Griffin shaved her go to remain in solidarity with her sister who was experiencing chemotherapy at the time.

A progression of photographs showed up via web-based networking media demonstrating the star with no hair. In one photograph, Griffin postured alone and topless while smiling and holding her uncovered head.

In the second photograph, Griffin sits next to her mother, Maggie Griffin, who covers her mouth in astound in the wake of seeing the motion the humorist did to pay tribute to Joyce. Maggie later tweeted that her little girl “Kathleen Mary is a superb person.”

It is not clear what kind of cancer Joyce was experiencing.

In 2014, the star’s more seasoned sibling, Gary, passed far from organize four esophageal cancer at 63 years old.
