Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Missing Daughter and Babysitter Found Safe From Lake Martin

The missing little girl of the sheriff of Lafayette Parish and the young lady’s sitter have been discovered safe.

As per KLFY-TV, Cora Garber, 7, the little girl of Sheriff’ Mark Garber, and Juliana Brooks, 21, the young lady’s sitter were found in Lake Martin.

The station announced the two went out in a kayak on the lake Monday night and it is trusted they may have floated into a lush region because of high water.

The sheriff’s office had requested volunteers to help in the hunt.
