A Minnesota secondary school has turned around its questionable banner boycott after a challenge.
Roughly 30 understudies and guardians accumulated at the Rocori High School parking area Wednesday evening, gladly flying American banners on their autos and trucks.
The school, which is situated in Cold Spring, Minnesota, set up the restriction on all banners the previous spring to keep understudies from showing the Confederate banner.
The new rule in the understudy handbook stated: “Understudies are not permitted to show banners or pennants from their vehicle while stopped in the Rocori High School parking area.”
After the exhibit, the school consented to permit American banners, however it won’t permit different banners that may make different understudies feel “undermined, awkward or risky.”
