MTA bus accident 1 dead and dozen injured in Flushing, Queens

The savage crash occurred in Flushing at the crossing point of Northern Boulevard and Main Street at 6:20 a.m., cops said.

Two were killed and 16 people were harmed when a private visit transport crashed into a MTA bus in Queens early Monday, experts said.

The private transport — keep running by Flushing-based Dahlia Travel and Tours — struck the city Q20 transport, and after that collided with a corner Kennedy Pizza and Chicken while the MTA transport was crushed up against it, confronting the wrong course on eastward Northern Boulevard, authorities said.

A little fire inside the building emitted following the crash, the FDNY said.

One of the two lethal casualties kicked the bucket at the scene subsequent to being stuck under one of the transports, police said. Their characters were not instantly known.

“I’ve never observed a mishap of this extent. The effect must’ve spun the transport around. A woman revealed to me that the transports hit at full speed. They have the Jaws of Life out, so you know it must be terrible,” he said.

NYPD Chief Elton Mohammed told journalists at a question and answer session that examiners are peddling the range for observation video.

A man who addressed the telephone at Dahlia said he didn’t know in regards to the crash and hung up.

The NYPD’s 109th Precinct depicted the crash on Twitter as “intense.”

The crash is causing substantial activity delays, police tweetedThe city’s Office of Emergency Management additionally tweeted: “Because of a transport mishap, expect broad movement delays and an overwhelming nearness of crisis work force in the territory of Northern Blvd and Main St, QN.”

Seventeen people were injured in the accident, including seven people in critical condition.

Drivers should wait for long delays in traffic in the area.
