An Utah police’s body camera video demonstrates a healing facility nurture being bound in the wake of declining to draw blood on an oblivious patient.
The video taken at University Hospital in Salt Lake City demonstrates nurture Alex Wubbels placidly disclosing to Salt Lake criminologist Jeff Payne that she couldn’t draw blood on a patient who had been harmed in an auto collision. She told the officer a patient was required to give assent for a blood test or will now be taken to jail. Else, she said police required a warrant.
The question finished with Payne telling the medical attendant she will be taken into custody for further judgment and physically moving her out of the doctor’s facility while she shouted.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports Wubbels was not charged. Police have begun an inward examination, yet Payne stays on obligation.
