A young lady was playing with relatives at a frozen yogurt shop in Alabama – when she abruptly fell into a six-foot-profound oil pit and suffocated, the Opelika-Auburn News detailed Saturday.
The 3-year-old young girl’s body was pulled Saturday from the in-ground compartment used to trap cooking oil at Brewster’s Real Ice Cream in Auburn, the daily paper included.
“Video confirm from the scene demonstrates that the young lady was playing with two of her kin when she obviously fell through a top covering one of the oil pits on the property,” Lee County Coroner Bill Harris said in a discharge.
“She had been absent around 5-10 minutes when she was discovered inert in the oil trap,” the coroner said.
The young lady was taken to a healing facility where she was announced dead Saturday evening, as per the discharge. It said that her demise is viewed as an inadvertent suffocating.
“No injustice is suspected and the passing examination demonstrates that she suffocated in the ooze that was in the six-foot-profound inground holder,” as indicated by Harris.
