Designer Donna Karan protects Harvey Weinstein amid a red carpet interview at the CinéFashion Film Awards on Sunday.
The DKNY planner said “we need to take a gander at ourselves” and question how ladies are introducing themselves and their sexuality. She has since said sorry for her remarks.
The UK’s Daily Mail distributed Karan’s celebrity main street meeting and video from Sunday’s Cine Fashion Film Awards, which found the fashioner talking about poor treatment towards ladies on the planet, yet separated that discussion from the Weinstein affirmations.

“Furthermore, what are we tossing out to our youngsters today about how to move and how to perform and what to wear? What amount should they appear?” Karan included. “I don’t believe it’s just Harvey Weinstein.
“We need to take a gander at our world…and how ladies are dressing and what they’re asking by simply introducing themselves the way they do. What are they requesting? Inconvenience.”
She called Weinstein and his better half “great individuals.”
The remarks quickly drew a quick Twitter censure from on-screen character Rose McGowan who tweeted a screen snatch of the Daily Mail article.
