Father and Son Dead Due To Drug Overdoses

A father and child purportedly dead of a speculated drugs overdose while praising a family birthday party.

Joseph Andrade, 44, and his 22-year-old child, Carlos, pardoned themselves from the merriments in Brooklyn, New York, by telling their accomplices they were going out for a smoke.

Carlos’ better half, Jasmin Santos, later discovered him with his face turning purple simply inside the building’s entryway, the New York Post reports.

Ms Santos, who is mother to Carlos’ 11-month-old and 4-year-old children, “discovered Carlos biting the dust,” a cousin, Sonia Santos, told the paper.

“She shouted and attempted to help him. She said he was turning blue.”

His dad was discovered oblivious a couple of feet away.

Specialists speculate they grunted a blend of heroin and fentanyl, police sources revealed to New York Post.

Police arrived and managed Narcan, a medication which can turn around the impacts of an opioid overdose.

The father and child were taken to doctor’s facility where they were articulated dead.

Police were later observed researching a little red plastic sack found on the ground close to the two men.

Individuals who knew them said that while the father may have battled with dependence, the child wasn’t known to have a history with drugs.

“The father had an issue,” a neighbor told the paper. “Individuals knew. I was amazed Carlos was included. He was a decent child.”

Their passings are under scrutiny and a therapeutic inspector will decide the reason.

A week ago, US President Donald Trump pronounced the opioid dependence emergency a “general wellbeing crisis.”
