Paths on the M56 westward have been shut to enable an air rescue vehicle to arrive following a genuine crash.
Officers were called at 12.25pm to reports of an episode including a white Mercedes sprinter van, which is accepted to have crashed into the focal reservation on the motorway between intersection nine at Lymm at intersection 10 at Stretton.
Crisis administrations, including the air rescue vehicle, are at the scene and the driver stays in a genuine condition.
Activity is overwhelming and drivers are encouraged to maintain a strategic distance from the range.
