UK Hostage Ian Squire Dead in Nigeria While 3 Are Release

Mr Squire was one of four British nationals abducted while working for a therapeutic philanthropy in Niger Delta.

The three different prisoners, Alanna Carson and David and Shirley Donovan, were discharged after arrangements by British and Nigerian authorities, Britain’s Foreign Office has affirmed.

The four Britons were abducted on October 13 in Nigeria’s oil-rich Delta district, where kidnappings are normal.

Dr and Mrs Donovan had lived in Nigeria for as far back as 14 years and allegedly ran Christian philanthropy New Foundations, which supplies help to neighborhood towns.

As indicated by the BBC, Mr Squire was an optometrist who was in Nigeria to complete many waterfall operations with New Foundations, helped by kindred optometrist Ms Carson.

Mr Squire established the philanthropy Mission for Vision in 2003 and frequently ventured out to remote locales in the creating scene to do centers and give glasses, pharmaceutical and waterfall operations.

The Foreign Office said it was not able give additionally insights about the grabbing as a result of a progressing examination by the Nigerian specialists.

“We are supporting the groups of four British individuals who were stole on October 13 in Nigeria, one of whom was deplorably slaughtered,” the announcement said.

“This has obviously been a horrendous time for all concerned, and our staff will keep on doing whatever we can to help the families.”

An announcement from the groups of Mr Squire and alternate prisoners said the most recent three weeks had been horrible for the relatives and companions of those included.

“We are pleased and alleviated that Alanna, David and Shirley have returned home securely,” the announcement said.

“Our considerations are currently with the family and companions of Ian as we deal with his dismal passing.”
