A 10-year-old young lady submitted suicide after a video of her battling with a domineering jerk developed via web-based networking media, as indicated by her sorrowful guardians.
Ashawnty Davis hanged herself in a wardrobe and passed on Wednesday in the wake of burning through two weeks in a coma, KDVR revealed.
The fifth-grader was an “offspring of delight,” as per her dad Anthony Davis — however she changed after she got into her initially battle at school in October.
Ashawnty had stood up to a young lady her mom Latoshia Harris claims was a harasser, and the two got into a battle at Sunrise Elementary while a gathering of children accumulated around to watch.
A wireless video of the battle was posted via web-based networking media, and her dad told KDVR, “She was crushed when she discovered it had made it to Musical.ly.”
The harassing just heightened, and Harris stated, “My little girl got back home two weeks after the fact and hanged herself in the storage room.”
She burned through two weeks in a coma at the Children’s Hospital Colorado and dead Wednesday.
Her folks are grieving the loss of their little girl, while relatives paid tribute to the young lady on Facebook.
“My family has lost an angel….The void and unanswered inquiries are expending. If you don’t mind appeal to God for my family amid this incomprehensible time,” Krystel Banks-Thomas composed.
The school area, which called Ashawnty’s demise an “appalling misfortune” said they turned the video over to the police including, “We don’t endure harassing of any sort in our schools.”
