A record number of organ transplants were completed in Ireland in 2017.
As per new figures from the Department of Health, 308 transplants were done in Irish clinics in 2017, 28 more than a year ago.
Measurements during the current year appear there were: 190 kidney, 61 liver, five pancreas, 36 lung, and 16 heart transplants.
