No less than 8 people were harmed in a crash including a school transport and a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning in Highlands County, Florida.
The school transport was conveying 29 understudies when it was struck in the back by a tractor-trailer at 7:48 a.m. on US 27 and Lake Placid Drive.
FHP reports that two understudies were carried to Tampa General Hospital with genuine wounds.
Moreover, Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Lake Placid says that they have gotten six patients, including the school transport driver, all with non-perilous wounds. Doctor’s facility pioneers have been advised more patients will arrive. They don’t have the foggiest idea about the degree of those wounds right now.
An organizing zone for guardians has been set up at the Winn Dixie parking garage on CR 29.
“Kindly don’t go to the mischance scene,” HCSO posted on Facebook. “Remain in the organizing territory with your youngster until cleared to leave by an appointee.”
