People are being encouraged to abstain from Tooting High Street in south London after a burst water principle sent water falling not far off. The issues started when a pipe burst at around 04:40 early today.
Video and pictures posted via web-based networking media indicated water flooding the streets around Tooting Broadway Station. The A24 Tooting High Street was shut making blockage Colliers Wood Station. The A217 Mitcham Road was additionally shut.
Thames Water said it is working with Transport for London and the crisis administrations to get things back to ordinary as quickly as time permits.
It comes the same number of homes in south London were left without water following a week ago’s awful climate. Today Thames Water said countless in the SW and SE now have their supply back, albeit limited isolated spaces keep on affecting a few properties.
