Specialists say a raccoon killed by a dog in Bethel Park was found to have rabies.
The Allegheny County wellbeing division said the creature was gotten a weekend ago after it was killed close to the 5500 square of Florida Avenue in Bethel Park.
Authorities said the raccoon tried positive for rabies. They said the dog was progressive on its rabies immunizations. Another raccoon was accounted for to have rabies in the province prior this year.
The region’s wellbeing division is encouraging occupants to evade any contact with wild or stray creatures, particularly those in the territory of the recreation center.
Anybody seeing a creature acting odd or debilitating is asked to call creature control, police or the state diversion commission.
“On the off chance that any creature gives off an impression of being acting odd or ends up undermining, inhabitants ought to advise their nearby creature control benefit, the police or the Pennsylvania Game Commission quickly,” Dr. Karen Hacker from the Health Department said.
