The Montreal producer behind the bilingual movie “Bon Cop, Bad Cop” has died at the age of 67.
Kevin Tilney’s son announced his father’s death on Twitter.
Tilney produced many movies, including the box office hit movie Bond Police, Bad Police. He also co-wrote this movie and won the Best Movie Elf Award in 2007.
He served as vice president of cinema at the Canadian Academy of Film and Television and was awarded the Filmmaker Award by the Canadian Film and Television Production Association in 2009.
In 2009, he produced the popular movie “The Trotsky” directed by his director son Jacob.
Jacob Tierney said on Twitter that his father died on Saturday morning under the siege of his family.
