An informed source revealed that Kim Kardashian West will meet with officials including senior adviser Jared Kushner at the White House on Wednesday to discuss prison reform.
It is not clear Kim Kardashian West will meet with President Donald Trump.
The entrepreneur and reality television star advocated pardoning a junior drug criminal named Alice Mary Johnson. He had served more than 20 years in prison.
Prison reform has always been a key issue for Kushner. Earlier this month, the House Judiciary Committee approved the White House-supported first-step bill that would expand the prisoner’s program and allow more families to be confined.
Kardashian West has said that she supports Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, but her husband Kanye West has expressed support for Trump.
In 2016, West met with the elected President of the Trump Building in New York. Last month, after releasing a photo wearing the “Make America Great Again” hat, West released a song to defend his praise for the president.
Kim Kardashian West’s White House visit was earlier reported by Vanity Fair.
